Just hanging out to my neighbor to pick up some breakfast for the next couples of days.
Kino Store opens on Thu, Fri, and Sat.
They change menu weekly. Usually they all sell out before late afternoon. A lot of people buy the weekly choice by mails regularly too.
You can freeze them without losing quality. You can buy a whole package to last for the next couples of weeks.
Apple Muffin. JPY200
This is my favorite muffin. Loaded with braised apple chunks with cinnamon.
Pitaya Bowl Muffin. JPY200.
This is another one I’ve never had. Okinawan dragon fruit, island banana, blue berries, and topped with Kino Store granola.
Carrot Cake. JPY200.
One of their specialities. The sweet flavorful carrots from Tsuken Island, lots of spices, and topped with cream cheese paste.
Coffee Cake, JPY220.
Coffee Cake is not made with coffee. The name means that it goes great with coffee. Sour cream, cinnamon crumble cake. A great harmony.
Hawaiian Cornbread, JPY200.
Hawaiian Cornbread has sweet aroma from coconut and pineapple. I just love this light moist texture with this mixture of flavors. Not really sweet for the taste.
Store German Cake. JPY220
Chocolate cake with housemade peanut cream and coconuts.
Coconut Pie. JPY200
Okinawan pineapple and passion fruit in a coconut paste.
Hawaiian Coconut Mochi. JPY200.
My favorite. Inspired by Hawaiian butter mochi.
Cheese Cake Brownie. JPY200
A beautiful balance of NY cheese cake and chocolate brownie.
Today’s Scone. JPY180.
Light fluffy scone with pineapple and macadamia nuts.
I’ve never been a fan of scones. I’ve just never encountered with a good scone, I guess. But this is an exception. It’s light, fluffy and somewhat moist, a little crust outside. Faintly sweet. Just an exceptional piece.
