On your way to the aquarium is a nice bakery.
“Pain de Kaito” is the name. (“pain” is a French word for bread)
Good variety of different kinds of bread and pastry.
Maybe they are not the best bakery on the island but I respect this bakery because they have such a wide variety and each pastry is made for specific taste and texture with different dough, different kinds of cheese, nuts, and fruits. It’s not like a franchise bakery that use the same dough for everything.
I think this bakery and Boulangerie i+plus are 2 street bakeries with that skills and good taste.
Everything is good. Just trust your intuition to pick!
But don’t miss this deep-fried curry doughnut.
It is like Russian Piroshki. Deep-fried dough wrap with Japanese curry in it. This is a pretty popular bread for Japanese people. I personally think their curry doughnut is the best!
Croissant with caramel nuts is very good too.
I just start drooling by the look of this.
A big chunk of pork rib and lots of vegetables are inside.
The quiche was very juicy and flavorful. JPY180
Yes, yes, we like it.
Camembert cheese and cashew nuts. JPY180. Very good.
This was a sweet rye bread. Cacao powder, white chocolate, and fig.
They give you free coffee if you ask. Not really a good one, though. I wish I could pay for good coffee here.
